3. Bookings
A booking is only confirmed when:
- You provide the required booking details
- You complete the required payment
- You receive booking confirmation from Palm Nest
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or request additional verification for any booking where we suspect fraud, incorrect information, payment issues, or violation of these Terms.
4. Guest Information
When making a booking, you may be required to provide your name, email address, phone number, booking details, and payment confirmation details. You agree that this information may be used for booking confirmation, guest communication, payment verification, and basic KYC or guest verification. You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is correct.
5. Payments
All payments must be made through the payment options available on the website or any approved payment method we provide. Prices may be shown in Ghana cedis, US dollars, or another supported currency depending on the payment setup.
International payments may be subject to bank charges, card issuer fees, exchange rate differences, or payment processor fees. Palm Nest is not responsible for fees charged by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
6. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times will be provided during booking confirmation or direct communication with Palm Nest. Guests are expected to respect the agreed times. Late check-out may attract additional charges unless approved in advance.
7. Guest Responsibilities
As a guest, you agree to:
- Use the property responsibly
- Respect the property, neighbours, staff, and surrounding environment
- Provide accurate booking and contact information
- Follow all house rules shared before or during your stay
- Avoid illegal, unsafe, or disruptive activity
- Pay for damage caused by you or your visitors
- Not exceed the agreed number of guests without approval
Palm Nest may cancel a stay or refuse access where a guest violates these Terms, house rules, or applicable law.
8. Property Rules
Additional property rules may be shared before check-in or during your stay. These may include rules on noise, parties, smoking, pets, visitors, parking, security, and use of property facilities. By completing a booking, you agree to follow all property rules.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may vary by booking type, rate, season, and payment method. Unless a specific cancellation policy is stated during booking, refunds are handled at the discretion of Palm Nest and may depend on timing, whether the property can be rebooked, payment processor fees, and costs already incurred. Payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
10. Changes to Bookings
If you want to change your booking dates, number of guests, or other booking details, contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
11. No-Show Policy
If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and do not contact us, your booking may be treated as a no-show. No-show bookings may not qualify for a refund.
12. Damage, Loss, and Security
Guests are responsible for damage, loss, or excessive cleaning caused during their stay. We may request payment for repair, replacement, cleaning, or related costs. Palm Nest is not responsible for loss of personal belongings unless caused by proven negligence on our part.
13. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website. You must not:
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the website
- Use the website for fraudulent bookings
- Provide false or misleading information
- Copy, scrape, or reproduce website content without permission
- Use the website in a way that violates applicable law
14. Availability and Website Accuracy
We try to keep website information accurate and up to date. Errors may occur, including pricing, availability, or description mistakes. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel bookings affected by obvious mistakes.

16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Palm Nest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, your booking, or your stay. Our total liability for any claim related to a booking will not exceed the amount paid for that specific booking, unless the law requires otherwise.
17. Force Majeure
Palm Nest will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, internet failures, government restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website, or a booking will be handled under the applicable laws and courts of Ghana, unless another process is agreed in writing.
